PULSE MANAGEMENT
Interview Questions for COVER MODELS
INSIDE YOUR WORLD: Modeling and Fashion

1.Tell us how you became a model. When was the first time you ever contemplate becoming one?
EV: I was working in Stater Brothers supermarket and a scout from pulse management named Kim Sibley approached me and asked me if I was interested in modeling and it all took off from there. I always wanted to be a model since I was young but there was always an issue of money and time.

2.Who discovered you? Tell us how it went about. Was it hard for you to decide becoming a model or was it easy because you have wanted to become one ever since?
EV: Her name is Kim Sibley from Pulse Management and she walked into where I was working and asked me if I was interested in doing some modeling. So I said yes and I went to an orientation where I had met Stacey Eastman who ran the agency and he basically spoke about the business and his company. Afterwards he asked me if I was interested in him representing me and then of course I said yes and then I signed a contract with him. It was very easy for me to decide because this is my dream and I always wanted to do it for so long that when the oppurtunity came along I just couldn't pass it up.

3.What your very first modeling gig? How was it? Did it change your impressions and views of modeling and fashion? Was it what you imagine it to be?
EV: My very first job was a swimsuit catalogue for Aaron Chang and I had a wonderful time!It was exactly what I imagined it to be but even greater. No it didn't change any of my impressions on modeling or fashion, it just made me appreciate it more. It was just what I had imagined but I thought of it as so easy and glamorous but as the day started I realised it was a lot more hard work than I thought.

4.What’s the most difficult part being a model? What are the best parts?
EV: I think the most difficult part is waking up so early in the morning for a job and still trying to look so beautiful. The best part would have to be being able to travel all around the world and meeting so many people and seeing so many beautiful places that you always dreamed of going.

5.What’s the most memorable experience you had as a model? Why is it the most memorable?
EV:The most memorable would have to be seeing my face in a magazine for the first time! I wil never forget it because it seemed so unreal. Everyday you look in magazines and never once do you think that you can really be in it.

6.What are the reactions of your family about modeling? Is this a factor that somehow influenced you over your professional choice?
EV:My family at first was a little bit sketchy , but after they met Stacey he made them feel very comfortable with what I was going to be doing. I t didn't affect my choice because this is what I always wantd to do and I just wanted to let them know it was going to go good!

7.Tell us more about the runways; what have been some of your most important catwalk appearances so far?
EV: The runway is a very exciting place to be, all the attention is on you and what you are wearing. If you feel very sexy or even cool in the clothes it affects your attitude when you walk and it makes you feel like a superstar! My most important appearance was in Thailand at Elle Fashion Week and at the Bangkok Fashion City show.

8.Regarding photoshoots, what are some of your favorites so far? Any particular photographer you wish to work with?
EV:I'd have to say the best photo shoot was with Aaron Chang because he is such a humble guy and he really makes you feel comfortable with him and the camera. Another good photo shoot was with the prime ministers son of Thailand. We had a really good time together and the places he chose to shoot were so different but at the same time amazing. I don't think I have any certain photographer that I would like to work with because everyone has ther own style. I would like to work with a variety of them but there are so many to choose from!

9.If you have a choice, which fashion magazine would you like to be the cover model?
EV: I would love to be the cover model of Cosmopolitan!

10.Define fashion. Define style. What is the meaning of these words for you?
EV:Fashion and style to me means many different types of designs and cloths but what makes the difference is how you wear them and how you put them together.

11. What type of clothes you like to wear very much? In shopping for clothes, what would be some of your favorites? Designers?
EV:I love to wear just some jeans and a nice comfortable T-shirt, but if I am going out I love to wear a nice classy dress. I love Christian Dior and also Louis Vutton, but when I buy a lot of clothes I love to go to the store Mango and I love Abercrombie and Fitch!

12.At this point in your career, what’s the most important modeling project you have done so far? Do you have a dream modeling assignment you wish to pursue?
EV:At this point the most important job that I have done is for Clinique make-up. Yes I would love to get on the cover page of Cosmopolitan or even Vogue!

13.Tell us about your experiences with the agencies that represent you. How is PULSE as your agency? Tell us some of your experiences with them. How was it being handled by the famous Stacey Eastman?
EV: Actually Pulse is the first agency I have ever dealed with, but so far everyhting is going great! I did a few jobs in California and then next thing you know I was off to Thailand and its still going great. He emails me all the time just to make sure that everyhting is going O.k and letting me know that I am doing a great job!Stacey is a very laid back type of guy, but when it comes down to business he is very serious and he makes sure you are understanding evrything that is going on!He really is an awesome guy, hes even got me saying awesome thats how much I talk to him!!

14.How long to you plan to become a model? If you were not into modeling, what would you be doing right now?
